Flooring Mulching Film Function:

Aluminum Film Underlay can overcome a series of faults existed during the use of the floor. Such as non- sound and heat insulation, no moisture proof, and not easy to find the level. With foam film, sound-absorbing and antibacterial functions can be easily reached.

Foam Film Materials:

The floor Aluminum Film Underlay we produced includes the waterproof and elastic layers. Waterproof layer is made out PE which has excellent water proof property; surface water can be isolated completely or groundwater seepage. Type close-cell or open-cell foam base material is used as elastic layer, which has excellent rebound performance and function to remain the shape in a long time.

Foam Underlay Theory:

After the foam underlay is laid on between the floor and the ground, a good buffer zone and isolation layer are created. Therefore, characteristics of sound insulation, water proof, anti-insect, heat insulation, comfortable foot feeling, resistant to long-term weight and ease the impact of heavy objects on the floor, and also eliminates the need for the floor keel and simplifies the process of the floor laying.

 Purchase Misunderstanding:

1.     Misunderstanding A: The thicker, the better. The thicker the film foam is, the larger maneuver room. Flexibility over will result floor joints crack, even cause tenon broken.

2.     Misunderstanding B: The thinner, the better. Too thinner, the effect of the moisture and buffering will be weakened and bad flexible. This will result leveling role failure and unwell foot feeling.

3.     Suggestion: Choose the proper film foam according to your residential climate, temperature and the quantity of the floor.

Thickness of the film foam should be controlled between 2 – 3mm.
